Phoenix, Arizona, is home to the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (St Mary’s Basilica). St Mary’s is the oldest, and until 1924, the only Catholic Church in Phoenix.
This amazing Church, though not the Cathedral for the Diocese of Phoenix, was named a Minor Basilica on September 2, 1985 by Saint Pope John Paul II.
